Mr. Painter brings almost 20 years’ experience in business serving in operations, design, construction, and commissioning roles. Graduating from UTSA in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and earning a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, Frank went to work for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Worth as a mechanical design engineer. Being a San Antonio native, Mr. Painter transferred from Fort Worth to San Antonio to work at Fort Sam Houston for the USACE as a construction advisor focusing on Mechanical and Plumbing construction. After a successful career with the USACE, Frank decided to pursue a career outside of Federal Service and joined a major Mechanical Contractor in Texas to lead their in-house mechanical engineering department. During this time, Mr. Painter served as the Engineer of Record on many projects and served as mentor to several up-and-coming engineers. In 2018, an opportunity to join a Federal Design-Build General Contractor became available and Frank signed on as Vice President of Mechanical Construction. In this role, he helped grow the department from strictly a Federal Contractor to other markets including Higher Ed, Healthcare, and Industrial. He served in this role up until founding FPC.
